Once you have your solution, mix it in a pump up sprayer. This solution will loosen up soil and grime from the carpet. This pre-treating step will also start to dissolve the dirt and grime. You will want to let it sit from 5 to 10 minutes before the next step.
After the pre-treating, you will need to use a carpet cleaning machine. Fill it up with warm fresh water. Don’t add anything to this water. This will be for rinsing out the cleaning solution and any dirt and grime. Then you want to go over the carpet slowly with the carpet cleaning machine. Lastly, dry out the carpet with fans and make sure the temperature ia bout 70 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also use a grooming rake if you wish.
